Magnet tester #MT v2 - a device for measuring the magnetic field strength of magnets.
The device allows the selection of magnets using the built-in magnetic field sensor, as well as measuring the strength of the magnets in the motor stator, using a plug-in external sensor.
All measurements are made in arbitrary units, the maximum instrument reading 600 units. As the power source of the device, the battery 18650 is used, charging is carried out through the micro USB connector with any 5v charger.
Operating procedure: turn on the instrument power supply, after auto calibration a short signal will sound - the device is ready for operation. Attach a magnet to the measuring platform, the indicator will show the strength and direction of the magnetic field of the magnet.
If you use an external sensor, you must first connect the sensor, and then turn on the power to the device!
As an external sensor, a magnetic field sensor other than the built-in one is used, which makes it possible to measure high-power samarium-cobalt and alnico magnets.
If the device is not used in the on state for more than 5 minutes, a signal-melody will sound.
